R.I.P Canadian Racer Steve Shreeve   Long-time Canadian Road Racer Steve Shreeve passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009   Steve was 47 years old and had raced with RACE, SOAR, Parts Canada SBK, Moto-ST, CCS, WERA and VRRA.  Steve was part of the SOAR team and a good friend.  He has been greatly missed.   In true “Steve” spirit, we have chosen to honour his memory by holding the Annual  “Steve Shreeve Memorial Speed Challenge” pit bike/scooter race.  Points are awarded for best costume, umbrella person, “pit stops for a snack” or whatever we deem funny enough to award points.     The inaugural Challenge was held on July 11, 2010 during SOAR round three.   A great assortment of racers entered which ranged from seguays to choppers, rastas to bikinis, mini bikes and even one participant chose to wheelie the entire race.    Click here to access our photos of this event.  Fun was had by all.    Gone but never forgotten.........................Ride on Steve!
